Organic Lavender Essential Oil

Help! I want to make my own shampoo with these ingredients. Can you give me specific measurements for each?

PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW SOON FOR CHRISTMAS ACTUALLY SO BY THE 24th!! Just want something that will fit a 10 OZ bottle. So I want a glycerin (liquid) base. I also want to put amla(its an indian veggie, search it up). Should I just grate the amla or use the juice?? And also rosemary and lavender essential Oils. Is there anything else i can put in to strengthen hair?? Please tell me if there’s any ~organic or around the house~ stuff that i can use to fortify and strengthen hair!!! PLEASE AND THANKS SO MUCH SO BASICALLY I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE MEASUREMENTS LIKE HOW MUCH BASE HOW MUCH OIL AND IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD PUT IN!!!!!!

I’m having a bit of an issue with this…Glycerin works this way..it draws moisture out. Thats why its used in creams to draw the moisture to the surface of the skin. I wouldnt want to use this on my hair. Air is typically drier in the winter months too causing a double issue. 100 percent glycerin placed on the tongue may raise a blister, since it is dehydrating. The effect of adding water to glyceryn sort of neutralizes it. Therefore using the glycerin has no real benifit.

As you can see there are bunches of tiny shingles. A good product will clean the shingles without weakening the shaft. This will cause the shafts to lay down. The best product for that is baking soda.

To clean the hair and scalp from pollution and oils and sweat you need to use a cleaner. The cleaner needs to address your scalp and your hair The harsher detergents will clean but weaken the hair. Shampoo was invented in the 1930′s as a way to wash hair in increasingly harder water. While they remove dirt and grime from your hair, they also remove all the healthy oils your hair needs to protect itself, leaving a pile of tangled mess for you to deal with. So, shortly after shampoo’s arrival came it’s partner, conditioner. The idea is that the conditioner will replace what the shampoo takes away, so you’ll be left with hair that feels smooth instead of destroyed. In short, you use shampoo to take away from your hair, and the conditioner to put it back. So…

Shampoo less often. You need a light shampoo once or twice a week. During the week

Dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda in a cup of warm water. (1 or 2 times a week add enough shampoo to work a lather.)
Mix a tablespoon of vinegar in a separate cup of warm water.
While in the shower, slowly pour the baking soda water over your hair, being sure to get it over all the roots completely. Slowly massage it in as thoroughly as possible. It will not foam as you are used to, and this will make you think it isn’t working. It is, just be patient. Your hair will not squeak, and it will generally not feel the same way it normally does after shampooing, but trust that it’s cleaning.
Rinse.
Next, pour the cup of vinegar water over all of your hair, being sure it saturates it completely.
Rinse again.

You will not need conditioner that starts the process of weighting the hair down, making it feel greasy and you wanting to wash it again by day 2.

The Amla would be great in the final rinse if your hair is normally dry. Use the juice which contains oils or grate it into the vinegar. Rosmary will darken your hair. Alma also has hair darkening properties. If you are trying to achieve a darker look check the Alma Hennas.

Baking soda is amazing it will clean all the little shingles gently, your hair will lay down properly and be softer then it ever was.

For shampoo stay away from Sodium or ammonium lauryl sulfates they are very harsh detergents. Use shampoos may include “nonionic surfactants” and/or “amphoteric surfactants” These are the very mildest forms of cleaning agents. Nonionics include; sorbitol esters, anything with “tween” in the name (tween-20, tween-80, etc.), or polyglyceryl ether. Amphoterics include; betaines, alkyl imidazoline, and alkyl amino acids. These types of cleaning agents are most frequently found in baby shampoos.
