Essential Oil Burners
Is there any way to burn vanilla extract in an Essential Oil Burner?
I know it contains alcohol, which is flammable, but if I mix it with oil (I know, also flammable) or something else, can I do it? My burner is metal with a shallow dish held over a tea light. Thanks!
it won’t smell as strong as a vanilla oil, but I suppose it could work, on it’s own, not mixed with oil. You can get oil-based vanilla flavorings at cake, candy, or craft supply stores. Something like that would probably work better, just because the alcohol and water from the vanilla extract will evaporate fairly quickly and leave nothing in the dish.
